From the bitterness of reality to the decision to change
From the bitterness of reality to the decision to change
Mohammed Al-Omar
Your solitary sitting in the darkness of the nights for long hours without venturing out to meet those around you is a process that exhausts your inner cells. It increases the chances of your depression, and your continuous distraction automatically distances you from everyone. You become a quick and light prey to all illusions, fearing any reaction you are unfamiliar with when you leave home to meet anyone.
Your thoughts automatically focus only on reactions, and you receive thoughts whose source you ignore because your subconscious mind has programmed you from within to hide your opinions, expressions, and disagreement with others’ opinions. You automatically respond with calmness and solitude.
So, when you see a speeding car in front of you, your thinking may build up a shock that leads to your immediate loss of consciousness. Or when you leave your home at night for a necessary matter alone and notice the sound of someone’s footsteps following you or standing by the road watching you, you cannot concentrate on whether it’s coming from behind, on your right, or on your left because you are not accustomed to such a situation.
This is our situation; we have become accustomed to secluding ourselves in a room made up of four walls, alone, with no one knowing who you are or what you do, except to accomplish your usual daily routine. You cannot travel, work, or even lead a normal life like any individual in a calm society. Instead, you are confined within a societal scope where you must carefully choose your actions and behaviors, not obligated to perform any act that helps others.
I am now speaking to you from this unclear focal point. I am not aware of how I fell into it, but I know very well that in its midst, there is a constrained person, and that is what pains me.
I have tried repeatedly, but talking is in vain without continuous action for salvation. The level of success in this step depends on you first, and then your subconscious mind engaging in any initiative that motivates and supports your principles, helping you not to remain a bystander.
On the contrary, these simple actions may help you bring about change in society and activate your ideas that have been suppressed for years, releasing them into a marginalized society. This will require a lot from you to save yourself. If you don’t save yourself, you will save your children from falling into that feeling. Don’t let the days repeat it for another generation but at a different time.
Make yourself an effective element. If it doesn’t serve its interests, it helps in serving the common interest of everyone.
